Background

Consultant for Hire
2018 – Present

I began my culinary journey working in restaurants from 2018 to 2021, where I learned the fundamentals of kitchen operations, time management, and food preparation. While I didn't pursue formal culinary training, my experience in those environments laid the groundwork for my skills and creativity in the kitchen.

In 2021, I transitioned into cooking for friends, family, and roommates, developing a reputation for nourishing, flavorful meals made with love and intention. As I became a postpartum doula, I began offering custom meal prep for my clients, focusing on nutrient-dense, healing foods to support recovery and wellness. From 2021 to 2023, I refined my style through in-home cooking, postpartum meal plans, and comfort-forward dishes inspired by both tradition and innovation.

Today, I’m a self-taught chef with a passion for supporting families through food. I specialize in postpartum nutrition, soulful meals, and private, in-home dining experiences that feel both elevated and homey.

I’m an intuitive chef with roots in the kitchen long before I could reach the stove. I learned to cook by watching my mama and siblings throw down, no recipes, just rhythm, love, and vibes. It started with stirring pots I was barely tall enough to see into, and somewhere between family meals, Sunday dinners in college, and feeding my community through the chaos of 2020, I found my flavor.

Now, I bring that same heart into the homes of my postpartum families, nourishing tired mamas, soothing sleepy partners, and making sure the village is fed right. My food isn’t just good; it’s grounding, it’s soulful, and it’s made with so much love you can taste it.
